Labnet MPS 1000 mini pcr plate spinner is designed specifically for quick and easy centrifugation of samples in PCR plates or microplates.
Most centrifuges that spin microplates are big and take up too much bench space. But the Mini Plate Spinner is different—its smart design keeps it small, only 6 x 6 inches. You can load two standard microplates at a time by sliding them into the top slot. Even if you load sealed plates vertically, the samples won’t spill because surface tension holds them in place.
Just close the lid, and the centrifuge quickly spins the plates up to 2,500 rpm. When you’re done, press the “open” button to stop it safely. If you’re working with temperature-sensitive samples, you can easily use this centrifuge in a cold room.
